The strond collectibles locations in God of War Ragnarok. This tour will guide you to all the collectibles in the Stronde area in chronological order. Everything needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is lost; everything can be saved after the story.
When you first visit the story area, you are still lost in the unlockable skills needed to reach certain collectibles. This tutorial is designed to be used after the story.

The second Artefact can be found by retracing your steps until you reach the area with the twilight stones. Instead of dropping west like before, head north a little, and turn towards the eastern wall. Looking carefully, you should see the washed-out white runic words on the wall. Climb up and then leave until you reach the next area. This next area will be where the Remnants of Asgard will be if you’ve completed the main story (read below). If you haven’t, ignore the last sentence, and continue following the linear path south until you lift and go under the large stone pillar. Progress further forward, and the Artefact will be to the left of the second Nornir Chest.

Know (Rune Reading – Broken History)
In front of Mystic Gateway.
Hel Tear (Frozen Spark)
To the right of the Lore, go down the ledge to see it. Hel’s Tears begin to appear in Main Mission 12: Gathering. You can go back to look for it after the story. Interact with the Hel-Tear portal and defend it until the timer runs out at the top of the screen.
Lore: Lore Marker – The Living Desert
The Strond Collectibles Return to Mystic Gateway/Lore. He goes up the path to the left of the story, then down at the end to see a story marker.
Nornir Chest
From the story marker, he goes back up and through the hole in the wall. He then goes straight down the ledge to find the Nornir Chest. Next, light three braziers with the Blades of Chaos (+). The first one is to the left of the Chest on the cliffs. The second one is to the right of the chest, looking towards the cliffs at the edge of the area. The third one requires you to go up the path, go up twice, then go back down to the left.
Odin’s Raven
After the Nornir chest follows the linear path, the raven willpower sits on a tree on the left after jumping over a broken bridge.
Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – Abandonment of the Afterlife)
After the raven goes through a small section of the cave tunnel, after exiting the cave, go straight along the ledge. There’s an artifact (bright purple) and a legendary chest to the left.
Asgardian Remnants
From the previous collectibles, go back up, turn left, and scale the wall marked white. It leads to an enemy encounter with the remnants of Asgard. The Strond Collectibles It appears only after completing the main story, and you have to go back to find it. After defeating the Remnants, also open the red reward chest on the right. It contains leftover materials and a lot of Hacksilver.
Artifact (Tributes to Freyr – Dream Charm)
After the Remnants of Asgard, follow the linear path and move the big rock out of the way. Then turn right to see a purple artifact and a Nornir chest.
How to Find The Strond
The Strond Collectibles During the main quest, Groa’s Secret, you’ll travel to Alfheim; The Strond is the area the Mystic Gateway takes you to. This page will guide you to obtaining all collectibles, including, but not limited to, Nornir Chests, Odin’s Ravens, Legendary Chests, and Artefacts, plus much more. Many of the collectibles won’t be available until you’ve progressed further into the story and unlocked more abilities. This guide will mention if that’s the case with as few spoilers as possible. None of the Collectibles in God of War: Ragnarök is missable, as you can return later in the post-game.
Where to Find all Lore (Poems) in The Strond
There are two lores’ to be found in The Strond. As soon as you enter the area via the Mystic Gateway, there’ll be some glowing blue writing on the wall straight in front of you. Walk over, and interact with it to get the first Lore.
The second Lore can be found by returning to the Mystic Gateway and taking the eastern path up the two platforms. When you get outside, keep walking east to the ledge, and look down to find a lore tablet resting in the snow. Drop to the ledge below, and interact with it to collect the second Lore.
Where to Find all Hels Tears in The Strond
Just the one Hels Tear in The Strand. It can be found right at the beginning of the area. From the first Lore, drop to the ledge on your right, where you’ll see the Hels Tear. It will not spawn until you reach the Main Mission: “Reunion.”
Where to Find all Nornir Chests in The Strond
There are two Nornir Chests in The Strond. The first Nornir Chest can be found nearby the second Lore. Grapple back up, and squeeze through the gap to the south. Now head southeast, and drop to the ledge below. This chest requires you to light up three braziers using your Blade of Chaos’ skill “Flaming Surge,” which can be done by holding and pressing. The three braziers can found in the following locations:
- Rune 1(C) – This can found to the left of the chest on the small northern platform.
- Rune 2(n) – Follow the path to the right of the chest, and look below the southern ledge.
- Rune 3(R) – The last Rune will require you to grapple back up the way you got to the chest, and climb up the two ledges to the southwest. When you reach the top, look over the southeastern ledge to find the last brazier sitting on a ledge to your right.
For the second Nornir Chest can found by retracing your steps until you reach the area with the twilight stones. Now instead of dropping west like before, head north a little, and turn towards the eastern wall. If you look carefully, you should see the washed out white runic words on the wall. Climb up, and then left until you reach the next area. This next area will be where the Remnants of Asgard will be if you’ve completed the main story (read below).
You’ll need to throw your spear at all three runes, and have them explode at the same time. The runes can found in the following locations:
- Rune 1(n) – Head past the chest towards the gap (don’t jump over), and turn 180°. The “n” rune will be to the right of the left tree.
- Rune 2(N) – Same as above, but to the right of the right tree.
- Rune 3(F) – For the last rune, head towards the gap again, and turn your camera to the right. The “F” rune will be on a ledge in the distance to your west.
Where to Find all Artefacts in The Strond
Kvasir Poem – Afterlife Abandonment
You can obtain two Artefacts during your exploration of The Strond. The first can found just after the Raven above. Jump over the large gap where the Raven was, and progress through the northern cave. If this is your first time here, you’ll find out about Twilight Stones. The Strond Collectibles After you open the exit to the cave, continue forward, and drop off the western ledge. Follow the path south into a small room that will contain a purple glowing object to the right of the chest, providing the Afterlife Abandonment Kvasir Poem.
